🌗 Forza Horizon 4 Wheel Settings 900 Degree
Picked up Horizon 5 (i have played all of them so im not new to the game) and i finally decided its time to get a wheel for this bad boy. Look on FB Marketplace, find a Logitech G29 with the add on shifter in basically brand new condition for sale for $400CAD. Offer the guy $275 he says yes, i pick up wheel pedals and shifter thinking to myself
Normal Wheel settings for any sim race game in Windows/the Wheel software with my G25. Overall effects strength 100 (can move up and down depending on how you like it) Spring Effect and /damper effect Strength at 0 these are for canned effects (also 0 in game) Centering Spring off Degrees of Rotation 900 in my case works for all good sims.
Yeah, the game is only made to accept so many discreet degrees of input. But you can adjust sensitivity to produce those degrees of input with more physical rotation of your wheel. Sensitivity is all the way at the bottom of the list in the advanced wheel profile settings. 1. r/ForzaHorizon.
I barely can make turns with ease. I’m playing horizon 4 Ty. that’s called force feedback, it’s supposed to do that because it simulates force feedback like in a real car. all g29s have this too. i’m not sure if you can turn it of, however. Try lowering down the force (in control panel) and in game.
This is one of the problems I have with Forza. It's still simulating 900° but just not visually. No matter what your rotation is set at the in game steering wheel and tires will only turn so much. The steering wheel never goes past about 90° both ways visually. It's still in 900 degrees mode, even if the steering wheel visually doesn't turn
From putting this guide together, I'm guessing this is absolutely required for Forza Horizon to detect the controller as a wheel at all! +1 has a Z axis. +2 has a POV hat. Byte 2-00: X, Y, Z axes are on the default joystick (Jn) axis. Byte 3-88: has an R (08) and U axis (80). Byte 4-01: has a V axis. Byte 5-fe: the controller has 0xfe or 254

Steering Wheel Settings : r/ForzaHorizon. Just got an Xbox for my son and also picked up the Hori Xbox steering wheel. I’ve downloaded the Hori app to adjust settings but it is still incredibly sensitive and difficult to use. I’m turning the wheel less than 5 degrees and I’m all over the place.
I use a g920 and had issues until changing my settings. Try these: Steering: Simulation Force Feedback : 0.5 Center Spring : 0-0.4 (change as you see fit) Wheel Damper Scale : 0 Mechanical Trail Scale : 1.8 I think these are the main ones I changed, but the car doesn't spin out every 10 seconds now so it's OK.
The wheel really feels weird with standard settings, like you have 90° angle. You can change the degrees of rotation in the Logitech gaming hub/ software for the steering wheel. That's i think the only way to change the degrees of rotation on the g29 or 920.
Here are my in-game settings: Steering axis deadzone inside: 1. Steering linearity: 5. Acc axis deadzone inside: 6. Acc axis deadzone outside: 95. Decel axis deadzone inside: 5. Decel axis deadzone outside: 51. Clutch: don't use. e-brake axis deadzone inside: 2.

Time trials do not report anything less than 900 for this wheel. I had it set to O at first and set a silver time and the report still showed 900. Ran a gold time with it set to S and still reports 900 degree wheel. Kinda bummed. This woulda been essentially outside corroboration that the wheel changed to the new rotation.
I'm enjoying the game a lot more now with these settings, they're so much more communicative. I believe the new rotation setting has the wrong number scale. 2520 gives 3 full rotations lock to lock, confirmed with telemetry. Anybody setting it at 900 or 1080 will get the wrong rotation scale and crazy wheel oscillation. 2520 is actually 1080. 2100 is 900. I am using a Fanatec csl dd with the wheelbase set to “auto”.
